Amanda Takes Off...

I'm currently in Germany! My lovely host (Mark) is napping, so here's a quick note. I've gone to Dachau (yes, the concentration camp—no words can describe it) and tromped up 302 steps to the top of a church. I've trompted 400 m up the side of a mountain and then another 30 m up where I could see both France and Switzerland. I've been on a train for the first time (now many times). I've gone to a museum of torture (yep) and an airplane museum (which was very cool, cute little town). I've had some wurst that was mostly made up of cow brains (yes, really) and trucked along, speaking no German, but getting good at using hand signals. So far, so good.
