Class was great. Some drills, some soccer, some plans for future monthly activities.
"To strike or hit" is 치다. 소리 means "sound." A word for yell is 소리치다. In other words, "sound strike." How fabulous is that?
Before class, I made some flashcards. Some of the boys came over and asked why I was circling the ㅂ on some of the verbs. I demonstrated how the ㅂ makes them irregular and said, "or I will forget" in Korean. Grin's Brother said, "Oh! Wow! Smart, Amanda!" and helped me with some pronunciation.
While the young boys played soccer and I made flashcards, Crybaby Gold Medal Girl screamed and wailed over nothing in particular. She went in the closet to eat some food and continued screaming, then truly screeched when the young boys turned off the light on her.
I leaned on the door. I purposefully mixed banmal with more polite speech. "[Crybaby]! 왜 소리쳐요? 그만! 안 소리치주세요. 귀가 아파요. 하지마! 뭐예요? 고양이예요?" Why are you yelling? Stop it! Don't yell. My ears hurt. Don't do that! What are you? A cat? I started wailing like a cat.
The young boys laughed and laughed and gave me a thumbs up.
Later, while doing drills, she whined and screeched again. I looked at Master. "고양이예요." She's a cat.
He laughed and started wailing like a cat.
She hit me. "Amanda! Don't!"
I grabbed her and hugged her, "아! 사랑해, 고양이!" Oh! I love you, Cat!
