Good Man and I met at Han River Park today.
10.664 kilometers of walking in 3 inch heels.
However, an absolutely stunningly gorgeous sunset and twilight over the Han River, complete with a nice river breeze made for a romantic scene straight out of a movie.
Great idea.

Ouch! I recently walked just a mile in new clogs (no fancy heels for me!) and got such a bad blister that I risked an awful infection. Maybe other women have better tolerance for pain than I do?

That distance was ONLY one side of the Han plus the walk over the bridge. It was not the brief walk down part of the other side to a hospital where we caught a taxi, and it excludes subways, etc. So I think it was more like 12k+km. My feet still hurt, two days later.

Mom, you were there when I bought them. Remember, uh, back in summer 2004 when I came up for a week and we went to Payless and I bought some adorable, super strappy sandal heel things in black? That was them. They're 3 inches. I measured.
