"Is This the End of the World?"
Tonight, after I picked up Good Man from school, I said, "We're getting gas because I found it for less than $3 a gallon! Wha-hoo!"
"Is this the end of the world?"
"I have no idea, but it's 73 cents cheaper than last time I filled up." (I can go 3-4 weeks before a fill.)
Good Man grinned, "Did Saudi Arabia buy America?"
"I have a quarter-tank left, but at this price, I'll fill up!"
"Maybe it's because Bush will be out of office soon."

Oh, I can totally relate to this. I was downright giddy that gas was 2.69. That is PITIFUL.
