Well, I completed three-fourths of my resolutions from last year.
Now, I should probably learn from two years in a row of overshooting Korean language goals, but eh...
This year I resolve to
Study Korean through level 4A. To facilitate this, post on my Korean Notebook twice a week (on average). Go to Korean Meetups at least twice a month (on average).
Continue to knit from my yarn stash. Spending limit on yarn this year: $200.
Get my student loan to half its current amount.
Keep on keeping on with the Good Man.

3 out of 4 is not bad at all.
I am still bogged down in 2A. During the last half of 2008, I was not as dedicated as I should have been. I don't know how far I can get this year, but would like to finish 3A or 3B. Good luck on your resolutions for 2009 and I wanted to mention that I have enjoyed reading about your wedding preparations.

I get stuck at some point in EACH book. I just get to the point where I don't think the vocab or grammar is useful and WHY AM I LEARNING THIS????

Ha..I know that feeling all too much. Then I try to manipulate my Korean conversations, so that I get to practice the obscure grammar/vocab that I learned. Have you ever checked out Koreanclass101?
