So True! I remember feeling the same way when I got back from Korea and even when I leave India although there is way more English spoken here. I kind of like not knowing what everyone is saying, it's actually way more peaceful. Plus I have heard some ridiculous conversations (mostly by teen girls or ignorant people) on buses, in bathrooms etc in Canada. I'd rather just not know people's stupid thoughts.
PS: I will one day have a teen girl, God help me ;)
An American educator moves moved to Korea, presumably to teach English. Instead she discovers discovered that learning Korean one taekwondo class at a time is was a more captivating activity.
Somewhere along the way, she met a Good Man, fell in love, and ended up back in the States. Still doing taekwondo, still learning Korean...
